Surges Brittany Carter named Player of the Week-Week 6

Chicago, IL- July 2, 2019– Brittany Carter of the St. Louis Surge was named the GWBA’s Player of the Week, for games played during Week 6 (June 24-June 30). Carter recorded a game high 25 points and 5 rebounds while helping the Surge capture a critical 104-77 home victory over the Music City Icons.

Carter is second player selected as Player of the Week from the St. Louis Surge who currently post a 2-2 league record and 3^rd place standing in the GWBA.

Other candidates for GWBA Player of the Week were Brea Edwards of the Music City Icons.
