The Wisconsin GLO is thrilled to bring on Preston Purifoy as Assistant Coach. Preston brings many years of basketball and coaching experience to the team. This will be Preston’s official debut as the Wisconsin GLO’s Assistant Coach, although he has been involved with the team in previous years.
Preston won a Conference-USA Regular Season Championship and appeared in the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship Tournament. Preston has spent the majority of the past eight years playing professional basketball in Europe. Preston earned All-Slovakia Honorable Mention in 2015 and All-Germany Honorable Mention in 2022.
Preston founded the “I Got Next” basketball training business in 2015 where he created and personalized training plans for players, organized group trainings and developed his coaching skills. Preston joined the Talladega College men’s basketball staff as assistant coach in Fall of 2022.
